Description
Version 3.1.5 Give your visitors moods. A visitor types /Mood in Nearby Chat (or clicks an object) and a menu opens on their screen: "AFK", "Busy", "Dancing", "In Love", "Team Red"... They pick one, and the mood shows on them: a sign above the head that follows the avatar, an animation, a sound, a message in the chat, a skin color, and even their clothes and their menu in the colors of their team. Each mood ends by its own rules: the first step, the first chat message, a duration, another mood, or a reset. MPP - My Mood Package is a three-module system delivered as a single Script asset in your inventory: one Menu per scene, one Entry per mood, and an optional Category per group of moods. Copy an Entry to make a new mood, delete it and its row leaves the menu: the Menu finds the moods by itself, nothing to link. No scripting skills needed. Fully standalone; works with MPP - Commands Help On Chat to list your scene commands and with MPP - Rotator for a mood item that turns. Perfect for: • AFK, Busy and BRB signs above the head • a dance floor with a menu of dances that can change by itself • team games: join Red or Blue, and wear the colors of your team • roleplay emotions: In Love with floating hearts and a pink skin, Angry, Sleeping • greetings and short emotes: a wave, a laugh, an applause ________________________________________ Key Features The menu • Opens with /Mood or by click, for the visitor alone; the visitor's own moods are marked and come first • "< Reset All Moods >" row and /NoMood; a shortcut command per mood (/afk, /busy), typed again to remove it • Categories open as submenus: << Dances >>, << Teams >> • Settings of each visitor, remembered from one visit to the next: menu on the left or the right, mood items higher or lower for a tall or small avatar • A private help at the first visit (/MoodHelp shows it again) • Panel, text and accent colors of your choice One Entry per mood • An item from your inventory that follows the avatar, its scale and its teleports • An animation: in a loop or once, whole body or upper body only, a variant for female skeletons • A sound: once, several times or in a loop, with fade in and fade out; it follows the avatar on an item with an audio emitter • A skin color (RRGGBB) with a smooth fade, restored when the mood ends; clothes, hair and eyes are left alone • Chat messages at the start and at the end, public, private, or only for the avatars nearby • End rules that add up: on move (with tolerances), on chat, after a duration, by reset Categories (optional Category module) • One mood per category at a time, several categories at once: Team Red while dancing the salsa, and AFK on top • Enter and leave messages for the category, or a silent change (a dance that changes says nothing) • A shortcut prefix: /Team + Red = /TeamRed • "< Random Dances >" row; an automatic random change every N minutes that each visitor turns on or off • /Mood can reopen the menu in the category of the visitor's last choice Team colors • Item tint: the mood item takes the color of the team • Menu tint: the title, border and highlight of the visitor's menu take it too • Outfit tint: clothes and accessories take the color, never the skin, eyes or hair; everything comes back when the mood ends Access and anti-spam • Permission mode: owner only, owner + whitelist, everyone except a blacklist (handles or UUIDs) • Per-visitor cooldown with a private "please wait" message showing the remaining time • A limit on the number of mood items in the scene ________________________________________ Quick Setup 1. Add the MPP - My Mood Menu module to one object of your scene (one Menu per scene). 2. Add the MPP - My Mood Entry module to another object: its defaults already make an "AFK" mood. 3. Build the scene, type /Mood in Nearby Chat and pick "AFK". 4. For each new mood, copy the Entry object and change Mood/Label; drop an item, an animation or a sound from your inventory into it. 5. Optional: give several Entries the same Mood/Category (Dances, Teams) to get a submenu, and add the MPP - My Mood Category module for its options. ________________________________________ Technical Details • Three modules in one Script asset: Menu (27 settings), Entry (34 settings), Category (12 settings) • The same commands and menu texts in every scene: /Mood, /NoMood, /MoodSet, /MoodHelp • Items, animations and sounds come from your inventory (the built-in emotes of Sansar cannot be started by a script) • An item that follows the avatar needs "Movable from Script" and a Keyframed rigid body, or none • The skin and the outfit are told apart by material names and shaders: default lists checked on 21 real avatars, adjustable • Visitor settings kept in a Sansar data store: menu side and item height only • A quiet script console: two lines at the start, then only the warnings for a wrong setup; optional Debug Logging on each module ________________________________________ Full documentation online: https://mpp-mainstore.com/sansar/MyMood/ ________________________________________ Changelog — Version 3.1.5 • First release on the Store.
