Scene Info Viewer Script

Description

Version 1.3.0 Put this script on an info sign, a desk or a totem: a click whispers a short report about your scene to the visitor (scene name, visitors in / maximum, instance role, gravity, how long the scene has been running, how long they have been there) and opens Sansar's details window of the scene, with its description, links and travel button. The same report answers the /sceneinfo chat command or an MPP - Action Button. A second, technical debug report (IDs, script memory, coroutines, visitor names) is reserved to the scene owner and to the avatars you allow. No scripting skills needed. Fully standalone; works with MPP - Action Button for a "Scene info" button on a control desk. ________________________________________ Key Features Three ways to ask • Click on the object: simple report, debug report or nothing, plus the details window if you want • Nearby Chat commands /sceneinfo and /sceneinfodebug (your own words if you prefer) • Script Events from MPP - Action Button: the report goes to whoever pressed the button Two reports • Simple: scene name, visitors, instance role, gravity, script uptime, the visitor's own visit time • Debug: location handle, instance / world / event IDs, owner, access group, versions, build ID, API version, script memory and policy, pending events, coroutines, visitor names • Whispered to the visitor, or posted to everyone Access and anti-spam • Debug report by permission mode: owner only, owner + whitelist, everyone except a blacklist (handles or UUIDs) • Customizable refusal message • Per-visitor cooldown with a private "please wait" message showing the remaining time, and a public cooldown for reports posted to everyone ________________________________________ Technical Details • 31 settings in six groups: Activation, Report, Access, Chat, Events, Debug • Long reports split into several chat messages (120 to 2000 characters each) • Safe delivery: a visitor who leaves during a report, or a message delayed by Sansar, never stops the script • Warnings in the script console for a wrong setup (a click that would do nothing, empty commands, an unused list) • Optional Debug Logging with the avatar handle and UUID of every request ________________________________________ Example Uses • An info sign at the landing point • A public "who is here?" counter • An admin desk with the debug report for your helpers • A "Scene info" button on an Action Button control desk ________________________________________ Full documentation online: https://mpp-mainstore.com/sansar/SceneInfoViewer/ ________________________________________ Changelog — Version 1.3.0 • First release on the Store.
